Solvena
To build a high-traffic platform that delivers over 95% accuracy across diverse cases and environments, with the capability to fine-tune large language models (LLMs) as needed.
Solvena, a Netherlands-based privacy consultancy, needed a powerful, unified software platform to automate GDPR compliance checks across multiple digital environments. The challenge was to build a suite of interconnected tools—including browser extensions, Microsoft Office add-ins, and a desktop application—that could accurately scan for and identify privacy violations in real-time, handling sensitive data with the highest security standards.
Engineering a Comprehensive Privacy Shield Across Platforms
We delivered a sophisticated, multi-faceted software ecosystem that embeds GDPR compliance directly into the user's workflow. This project demonstrates our deep expertise in building secure, interoperable applications that function seamlessly across diverse operating systems and software environments.
Our technical execution involved architecting a complex, integrated system:
- Browser Extension: Developed to actively monitor web content, forms, and cookies for compliance issues in real-time as users browse.
- Microsoft Office Add-ins: Built specialized plugins for MS Word and MS Outlook to scan documents and emails for sensitive personal data and privacy violations before sharing.
- Desktop Application: Created a powerful standalone tool for deep, system-wide scans and comprehensive compliance reporting.
- Core Technology: Leveraged a mix of JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# to build the various components, ensuring optimal performance and integration with host applications. A centralized, secure API and database architecture correlates findings from all platforms into a single dashboard.
